Position Description

Job Purpose
  • To execute transactions on behalf of Individual Clients
  • To ensure clients are updated on transaction executed and market updates. 
KRAs
  • Execution of clients mandate as stated on the jobbing book, ensure that at least 90% of all attainable mandates are executed on each trading day at 95% error free rate.
  • Providing regular updates on the market to clients
  • Ensure trade confirms are sent out on or before 3p.m on each trade date.
  • Ensure market updates are sent out on or before 4 pm on each trade date
  • Execution of OTC transactions on behalf of clients
  • Ensure responses are sent to client’s enquiries
  • Supervising filling and listing of offers , bonds and rights
  • Liasing with the regulators on issues concerning dealing.
Key Performance Measures
  • 95% Error Free Rate
  • 90% Execution of all mandates on the jobbing book
  • Spool tradelogs within 30mins after close of market
  • Filing of all offer documents within the specified time frame on the offer document.
  • Resolution of clients enquiries within 48 hours
Required Skills and Qualifications
Knowledge
  • Minimum of a 2.1 B.Sc degree in Finance related courses; ACIS and ACA can be an added advantage.
  • A good knowledge of the financial market, NSE and SEC rule.
  • Computer Literacy and good analytical skill.
Experience
  • 1 year post NYSC with relevant experience
