Job Title: Brand Executive
Responsibilities of the Brand Executive:
- Supports the Head, Business
Support to define/update the Vision and objectives of RegCharles..
- Develops communications plans,
manages events and programmes with budgets based on periodic business
plans justifiable vis-à-vis revenues and growth estimates.
- Supports the development of
image building/management strategies and programmes.
- Ensures development and
implementation of consistent and vision-aligned policies for internal and
external communications and branding efforts; monitors compliance and
recommends sanctions for non-compliance.
- Supports the Head, Business
Support in the development of Marketing-wide communication systems,
policies and practices; ensures compliance to communications models and
templates
- Oversees the career
development, capability development and progression of team members and
supports their growth.
- Develops and monitors the Unit’s
budget and implements various initiatives to optimize costs, while
delivering quality solutions of high impact
- Supports Change Management
efforts on entity level projects and business initiatives with specific
focus on Communication Strategy development and deployment
- Oversees the transaction
processing and solutions implementation efforts of the Unit and ensures
administrative efficiency on a daily-basis
- Produces/provides periodic
updates and management reports on the activities of the department..
- Manages key relationships with
stakeholder groups including internal clients, general employee groups,
external parties (Advertising Agencies, Media, Government Agencies,
Corporate/regulatory, Organizations, Vendors etc)
- To ensure successful work of
high quality outputs.
- Open up a pipeline of deals and
work flow channels for the company via image building, media interactions
etc
Other Duites As Required By Management
- Generate funds, notes and
liabilities for investment purposes in the company
- Generate and expand pipeline of
deals in line with the company’s focus and business initiatives
- The candidate will focus on
creating structures and opportunities capable of attracting these groups
into our business. The role is supposed to help the company to achieve its
vision and mission encouraging and empowering entrepreneurship among our
youths, undergraduates and young school leavers.
- Responsible for product
development and fund designs suitable for the businesses of MSMEs.
- Coordinating closely with
social, environmental and technical assistance colleagues in order to add
value to our clients' businesses, finding pragmatic solutions to the
specific sector challenges, to achieve sustainable development impact;
- Collaborating in developing
sector and regional strategies and supporting related policy advisory
work; and
- Other duties as required by
management from time to time
Desired Attributes, Qualifications And Skills
To be considered for this role
the candidate must meet the following criteria:
- You must have strong writing
and reporting skills
- The desired candidate must have
strong networks and have the ability to develop networks with the media
- You must be able to overcome
challenges related with managing small businesses
- The ideal candidate should have
at least 2years experience in this field
Qualifications:
- University degree with a
minimum of 2:2,
- Masters degree and other
professional qualifications will be an added advantage,
- Must not be more than 28 years,
- Industry knowledge and
understanding will be most desired,
- Strong writing skills,
- Business development and client
relationship skills, track record and ability to focus on clients needs
effectively;
- Ability to interact directly
and independently with the senior management of potential clients, of
financial and technical partners,
- Excellent verbal and written
communication skills in English etc
- Strong inter-personal and team
working skills, ability to interact effectively with clients and
colleagues from various cultural backgrounds.
